Anna Parisi (1974), vive tra Torino e Cagliari.
La sua produzione fotografica nasce durante il primo viaggio in India nel 2013.
Ogni volta che è per il mondo, le sue macchine fotografiche diventano strumento di dialogo, conoscenza e
scoperta.
Negli ultimi anni, la sua ricerca ruota attorno alla relazione tra materia e corpo, analizzando i temi
fondamentali come cambiamento, memoria e identità.
La sua pratica artistica prevede anche l’uso dell’autoritratto, che le permette di creare storie poetiche e
surreali dove l’elemento ricorrente è la relazione tra il visibile e l’invisibile, il materico e l’impercettibile.
Dal 2019 collabora, come fotografa, con l’INFN di Torino nel progetto teatrale di divulgazione scientifica “La
forza nascosta. Scienziate nella fisica e nella storia”.
Dal 2022 collabora, come fotografa, con Luisa Spagna, danza terapeuta e insegnante di danza, nei
seminari di danze e performance rituale.
Nel 2023, ha intrapreso un mentoring con la fotografa Simona Ghizzoni, approfondendo il suo percorso artistico.
Nel 2024, fonda con altre 6 donne il collettivo artistico Nucleo Abitato, luogo di incontro, scambio e ricerca fotografica.
Ha partecipato a diverse mostre collettive e le sue opere sono state esposte in festival fotografici e
rassegne culturali.

Her photographic production began during her first trip to India in 2013.
Each time she is around the world, her cameras become a tool for dialogue, knowledge and discovery. West Africa, Nepal, Sri Lanka, India, Burma, Guatemala, California, Europe, Italy: experiences that have given people the opportunity to express a part of themselves.
Her research has focused on the relationship between matter and the body, analysing fundamental themes such as change, memory and identity.
Her artistic practice also involves the use of self-portraiture, which allows her to create poetic and surreal stories where the recurring element is the relationship between the visible and the invisible, the material and the imperceptible.
Since 2019, she has been collaborating, as a photographer, with the INFN of Turin in the science popularisation theatre project "La forza nascosta. Scientists in physics and history'.
Since 2022 she has been collaborating, as a photographer, with Luisa Spagna, dance therapist and dance teacher, in dance and ritual performance workshops.
In 2023, she undertook eight months of tutoring with photographer Simona Ghizzoni, deepening his artistic development.
In 2024, together with six other women, she founded the artistic collective Nucleo Abitato, a space for encounter, exchange, and photographic research.
She has participated in several group exhibitions and her works have been exhibited at photo festivals and cultural events.
